Around 1983 the BBC broadcast a celebratory play recording the demise of Smith's Rhodesia and the birth of Mugabe's new promise land of black liberty and prosperity, Zimbabwe.
"Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe, " the chorus resounded in mesmeric, tribal chant followed by , "mugabe' Mugabe'.." The play was powerful, hopeful and triumphant, though I admit having my reservations about the ferment of righteous indignation which permeated the play.
Lore, the BBC should redress their political and misguided bias by broadcasting another play examining the desparate misery perpetrated on the Rhodesians, Zimbabweans inflicted on them by despotic tribes and clueless Westerners
